The Bernard M. Gordon Learning Factory is a state-of-the-art facility that supports the capstone design program in the College of Engineering. Recently expanded, the 6,500 sq. ft. facility sees continuous usage throughout the year by nearly 1000 students that take courses ranging from Introduction to Engineering Design (freshmen) to Capstone Design (senior) and anything in between that requires access to hands-on manufacturing facilities and space.
Hours of operation are 8am-10pm in the Fall & Spring semesters and 9am-4:30pm in Summer.
The following photos walk you through the building just after it was dedicated. Check out Webcam #1 and Webcam #2 to see current activities in the facility.

The existing space has been revamped for project space and assembly - here students are working on a senior design project for General Motors (SP/09), improving the design of the tie-downs used in the pick-up truck bed
