Other Training

The Learning Factory provides access and training for a number of tools and skills. Some equipment, such as the mills and welding booths, are only available to those that have completed specific certification courses. These can be scheduled online through the Learning Factory Booking Page.

Machining

Machining resources within the Learning Factory include the manual mills, lathes, drill press, band saw, belt sander, pedestal grinder, hydraulic press, and cut-off saw. Having received certification, a student will be permitted to use the machining resources. Also note that machining resources may not be operated without the presence of a Learning Factory representative in the shop area.
